The Beverly Hills Whole Foods Market welcomes you to enjoy a variety of events during the month of October. Be sure to stop by on Tuesday’s where we offer a fresh outlook on vegetarian dishes with a weekly Produce Pick of the Day. Saturdays continue with our FREE Cooking Class series taught by customer favorites; Chef Alexx and Vinetta Vir. Want to learn how to save some money at Whole Foods Market? We offer a Value Tour every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. where we personalize your needs and show you have to eat on a budget.
 
Saturday Cooking Class Series:
 
Chef Alexx is back! By customer demand, Chef Alexx will resume his popular FREE cooking class series for four Saturdays during the month of October.  Whether you need some healthy Halloween treat ideas or want to spice up your current kitchen recipes, he will inspire you with delicious and season-appropriate classes.  
 
Vineeta Vir, an Indian food master will also be back in the store to help Beverly Hills understand the Diwali holiday also known as the "Festival of Light" with supported authentic vegetarian dishes. Her FREE class is not to miss!
 
Halloween Treasure Hunt! Stop by this Halloween to treat the little ones to a healthy scavenger hunt throughout the store. Follow a special treasure map to collect nutritious surprises from various department! For more information, please contact Ellen in Marketing at 310.274.3360. Scavenger hunt is FREE for kids and their parents.

    5% Day in honor of Marathon Kids

    5% Day in honor of Marathon KidsMarathon Kids is an endurance-building running, walking and nutrition program for kindergarten through 5th graders.   Whole Foods Market is a major sponsor of this program and our participation helps to make it FREE to students all over the country.  As part of the program, students train to run 26.2 miles over a six-month period and also learn to eat 26 days a month of "5 a day fruits and vegetables" to fuel their training.

    In respect to the start of Diwali on October 28th we will feature a vegetarian cooking class by Vineeta Vir who has delighted us several times with her expertise on preparing Indian food.  Diwali is a major Indian and Nepalese festival and is celebrated across the world by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and many Buddhists.  It is also known as the “Festival of Light” where lights or lamps signify victory of good over the evil within every human being.

    Kids Club Halloween Style

    4:00 p.m.

    Learn about pumpkin carving and how to bake the scary but delicious Witches’ Fingers (Cookies) for your next spooky gathering. Pumpkin carving will depend on age appropriate attendees and parent supervision will be required due to sharp tools.
